Plastic Collection & Buy-Back
We buy post-consumer and post-industrial plastics from material recovery facilities (MRFs), hotels, factories and estates across Nairobi and surrounding counties, paying fair rates per kilo.
We collect and process used PET, HDPE, LDPE and PP plastics into clean flakes, granules and PET strapping — and turn sawdust and organic waste into high-heat charcoal briquettes.

From collection and sorting to washing, shredding and extrusion — we handle every stage of the loop right here in Nairobi.

Bottles are de-labelled, washed, cold and hot-washed and crushed into clean, low-moisture PET flakes suitable for fibre, sheet and strapping manufacturers.
Rigid containers, films and crates are shredded and extruded into consistent granules and regrind with controlled melt flow for injection and blow moulding.
We produce high-tensile PET strapping from recycled flake — a strong, rust-free alternative to steel banding for pallets, bricks and timber loads.
Sawdust and organic waste are carbonised and pressed into dense, long-burning briquettes — a cleaner, smokeless fuel for homes, schools and restaurants.
Scheduled collection and recycling reporting for manufacturers, malls and offices that need verifiable diversion-from-landfill figures.
Karsam evolved with a simple observation: too much valuable plastic was ending up in Kenyan landfills and rivers while local manufacturers imported virgin resin at rising cost.
Today we operate a washing, shredding and extrusion line in Nairobi that converts PET, HDPE, LDPE and PP into clean flakes, granules and PET strapping. Alongside the plastics line, we carbonise sawdust and organic waste from timber yards and markets into charcoal briquettes.
We work directly with waste pickers, aggregators and industrial partners from all the 47 counties — creating income for collectors while giving manufacturers a reliable, locally produced recycled feedstock.
Consistent grades, tested moisture and density, delivered from our Nairobi facility to manufacturers across East Africa.

Four straightforward stages that turn mixed waste into a dependable industrial raw material.
We pick up baled plastic and sawdust from collectors, estates, factories and timber yards on a scheduled route.
Material is separated by polymer type, de-labelled, then cold and hot washed to remove dirt, glue and caps.
Clean plastic is shredded into flakes or melted and extruded into uniform granules and PET strapping.
Finished flakes, granules, strapping and briquettes are bagged and delivered to manufacturers countrywide and across the world
We measure success by repeat orders and by the tonnes we keep out of landfill.
GreenLoop's PET flake is consistently clean and dry. We've cut our virgin resin use by nearly a third since switching, and the quality has never dipped.
Their briquettes burn longer than the charcoal we used before and there's far less smoke in the kitchen. Our fuel bill dropped noticeably.
I've sold plastic to GreenLoop for four years. They weigh fairly, pay on time, and the collection team is always professional.
Whether you want to sell plastic, buy recycled feedstock, or set up a commercial collection contract — our Nairobi team responds within one working day.
